🎨 HELIX Jekyll Theme Architecture & Specifications

This technical wiki documents the internal design, build system, component architecture, and remote execution pipeline of HELIX Jekyll Theme (HELIX-Origin/helix-jekyll-theme).

helix-jekyll-theme is architected as an autonomous Jekyll gem and GitHub Pages remote_theme engine:

⚡ Precompiled Dart Sass Pipeline

To ensure 100% compatibility with GitHub Pages safe mode (which does not run arbitrary bundlers), helix-jekyll-theme compiles all Sass sources locally via Dart Sass into assets/css/site.css:

npx sass _sass/site.scss assets/css/site.css --style=compressed --no-source-map

Consuming sites referencing remote_theme: HELIX-Origin/helix-jekyll-theme inherit the precompiled stylesheet immediately without requiring local Node.js or Dart Sass tooling.
